LOOKING AHEAD TO 2020
We do hope you will be able to support a number of our fundraisers next year; further dates for 2020 will be confirmed over the next few months, but please get the dates below in your diaries.
Saturday 18th April 2020 – HORN & HOUND BALL AT YORK RACECOURSE
We are really delighted to announce that the Horn & Hound Ball will be returning next year, with an exciting change of venue! The Ball is heading north and will be held at York Racecourse in 2020 - further details will follow soon but the ever-popular National Horn Blowing Competition will definitely be returning. The Ball is our largest annual fundraiser and for it to be its usual success we really do need everyone’s support on the night.
Early July 2020 – HSBS WELSH FUNDRAISER
Our Area Rep for Wales, Edwin Atkinson, is currently organising a very special HSBS fundraiser, set to take place in early July at Llwynywermod in Llandovery, the Welsh residence of the Society’s Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales. Further details will be revealed soon, and the exact date confirmed. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, please get in touch if you or your business might be interested in supporting this event.
*CHANGE OF DATE* NOW Sunday 12th July 2020 – HSBS POLO DAY
After the success of this summer’s polo fundraiser we are looking to run a similar day in 2020. All details are still to be confirmed but the possibility of an inter-hunt tournament with a number of matches leading to a final is being considered at the moment – if this is something you or your Hunt may be interested in being involved with do let us know; we would love to hear from you with any suggestions.
*CHANGE OF DATE* NOW Monday 7th September 2020 – VISIT TO RABY CASTLE, Co. DURHAM
With the kind permission of Lord Barnard, a special private tour of Raby Castle will take place in aid of the Society in early September next year. Booking information will be made available to Members in early 2020.
