HSBS Polo Day at Beaufort Polo Club - Sunday 28th July, 2019
HSBS Polo Day at Beaufort Polo Club- Sunday 28th July, 2019
The HSBS is delighted to announce the return of this popular summer fundraiser and would like to invite all Members and supporters of the Society to join us for what will undoubtedly be a fantastic Day of Polo, taking place this year at the prestigious Beaufort Polo Club in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside on Sunday 28th July, 2019.
The Beaufort Polo Club is very kindly hosting this HSBS Polo Day. Home to the famous Tomlinson polo dynasty and at the centre for the development of polo in the Cotswolds, the Club in its present form is celebrating it’s 30th birthday this year, but its origins can be traced right back to a hunt polo club which must have been one of the first if not the first, of the country polo clubs. The Club today maintains very close links with the hunting world and the Society is thrilled the Club will be providing the beautiful backdrop for this HSBS fundraiser.
The day will begin with a Champagne Reception on the lawn, where guests will be treated to a special Hound Parade and Polo Demonstration before making their way to the VIP Marquee for Luncheon (with some wine included). A Silent Auction will be running throughout the day (more details coming soon), with a few special lots auctioned live, before guests settle down into the Grandstand to watch the HSBS Inter-Hunt Polo Match where the Ronnie Wallace Memorial Trophy will once again be competed for. A second, top class Match will follow, before Presentations and Afternoon Tea.
Full-Day Badges cost £120 per guest (to include Car Pass, Drinks Reception, Luncheon (with wine), Presentations and Afternoon Tea). Please note tables for lunch seat 10 people; smaller parties will be seated together but on combined tables.
Afternoon Badges cost £45 per guest (to include Car Pass, a drink on arrival and Afternoon Tea, with access to the VIP Marquee (with cash bar) and Grandstand from just before the start of the first Polo Match).
As with all of our fundraisers, we need the support of our Members and the wider hunting community to ensure the day is a success and so we do hope you will join us for a really special day of polo and entertainment in the (hopefully!) glorious Gloucestershire sunshine, raising vital funds for our hard-working Hunt Staff in their retirement.
If you would like to attend, please complete and return the Booking Form with payment to Miss Lucy Stevens at HSBS, Overley Barn, Daglingworth, Cirencester GL7 7HX.
All cheques should be made payable to 'Hunt Staff Benefit Society'.
There are still sponsorship opportunities available for this HSBS Fundraiser; if you or your business would like to support the Society in its fundraising efforts in this way do please get in touch- all approaches would be welcomed!
